During his time, Taylor implemented several innovative methods still used today, including climate controlled aging warehouses. Many of the barrels selected for the E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel are aged in Warehouse C, which was built by Taylor in 1881 and proven to be an excellent aging warehouse. Each barrel is hand-picked and Bottled in Bond at 100 proof to honor its namesake.   TASTING NOTES The aroma carries lightly toasted oak, with dried figs and butterscotch. One sip brings flavors of sweetness balanced with tobacco and dark spices. The finish is just long enough to prepare the palate for another sip. The bottle itself is a likeness to Colonel Taylor’s original design used over a century ago.   REVIEWS Wine Enthusiast rating: 94 “A very sound whiskey that ably demonstrates the small Bottled-in-Bond sector of American whiskey making.” -Paul Pacult’s Spirit Journal

Shipping Delays

The store is not responsible for delays caused by UPS. Orders processed by us and dropped off in a timely manner at an UPS location is within our control; UPS doing the delivery in the estimated delivery time is not. UPS is not guaranteeing delivery dates or times or reimbursing for delayed shipments.

Shipping Recommendations

We highly recommend that you ship via air (not ground) during extreme temperatures. This will help protect the integrity of your product; this is especially true for wines as extreme temperatures can have a negative effect on the quality of the items.

Missed Delivery

If a box is returned to us due to missed delivery, the customer owes the return shipping charges and we can resend the box to you which will incur new shipping charges again.

Order Processing

Most orders will be processed the next business day. There are sometimes inventory issues that can cause a slight delay in this. If your order is time sensitive due to needing it for a special occasion or by a certain date, please follow up with the store via phone to notify us and get an update if needed. Please understand the UPS delivery windows are transit time and begin once the box has been scanned in at our local UPS office and also ground shipments are estimated transit times. All orders will require an adult 21 years or older to sign for the delivery. No packages can be left without an adult signature. UPS will attempt to deliver your package to you 3 times. After 3 failed attempts, they will return the package to us. If it is returned to us, you can have it reshipped (at your shipping expense) or have the order refunded (minus a 15% restocking fee).
