Building upon Americaâs 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Actâalready the highest quality standard for aged spirits in the worldâNew Riff Rye is Bottled In Bond Without Chill Filtration. Featuring a unique mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted rye, it represents a new riff on our hallowed local Rye whiskey traditions. Aged four years in full-size 53-gallon toasted and charred new oak barrels, there are no shortcuts taken in its traditional production. All New Riff whiskeys are made with the full sour mash Kentucky Regimen; all carry an age statement and are always bottled without chill filtration.
Our distillers learned the black arts of the hardest whiskey in the world to makeâthe famed 95% Ryeâunder the direct tutelage of the distiller who mastered it in Indiana, Larry Ebersold of Seagramâs. Taking Master Larryâs instruction in hand, we put a riff on it to the tune of adding 5% malted rye, a unique twist that aids in pulling additional flavors out of the rye and adds a touch of the elegance of malted rye. New Riff Rye is splendid with a splash of water, and of course folds magnificently into classic Rye Manhattan and Old Fashioned cocktails.

Appearance: Extra rich, unfiltered deep amber color.
Nose: Spicy and detailed, showing mint, black pepper, and vanilla with hints of orange and oak.
Taste: Cinnamon spice, vanilla and sweet toffee moving into a bold mouth feel with rich Rye spice, caramel and toasted oak. Complex flavors drink older than four-year-old.
Finish: Bold Rye spice with vanilla buttercream and lingering brown sugar, plus a mineral-grassy Rye tone that fades slowly.

We currently do not ship to the following states: Iowa, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Michigan. We currently do no ship internationally.
Shipping Delays
The store is not responsible for delays caused by UPS. Orders processed by us and dropped off in a timely manner at an UPS location is within our control; UPS doing the delivery in the estimated delivery time is not. UPS is not guaranteeing delivery dates or times or reimbursing for delayed shipments.
Shipping Recommendations
We highly recommend that you ship via air (not ground) during extreme temperatures. This will help protect the integrity of your product; this is especially true for wines as extreme temperatures can have a negative effect on the quality of the items.
Missed Delivery
If a box is returned to us due to missed delivery, the customer owes the return shipping charges and we can resend the box to you which will incur new shipping charges again.
Order Processing
Most orders will be processed the next business day. There are sometimes inventory issues that can cause a slight delay in this. If your order is time sensitive due to needing it for a special occasion or by a certain date, please follow up with the store via phone to notify us and get an update if needed. Please understand the UPS delivery windows are transit time and begin once the box has been scanned in at our local UPS office and also ground shipments are estimated transit times. All orders will require an adult 21 years or older to sign for the delivery. No packages can be left without an adult signature. UPS will attempt to deliver your package to you 3 times. After 3 failed attempts, they will return the package to us. If it is returned to us, you can have it reshipped (at your shipping expense) or have the order refunded (minus a 15% restocking fee).
